Terms and Conditions

  • We adhere to the Hotel Guest Registration act as outlined by the Province of British Columbia.
  • A valid credit card is required to hold a reservation and is required upon check-in.
  • Payment is to be made in full upon arrival.
  • Dog friendly rooms must be booked in advance and are limited. A maximum of two dogs are allowed per room. The fee is per dog, per night.
  • All rooms are non-smoking. Any evidence of smoking will cause a cleaning fee to be charged to the credit card on file. The amount is subject to management’s discretion.
  • Consumption of alcohol and/or marijuana must be done so in accordance with Canadian law and may not be consumed publicly when on the Lakeview property.

 

Cancellation Policy

Peak season bookings between June 15 and September 15:

  • The cancellation fee is 100% of the total room booking for cancellations made within 24 hours of the arrival date.
  • The cancellation fee is 30% of the total room booking for all other cancellations.

Off-season bookings between September 16 and June 14:

  • The cancellation fee is 100% of the total room booking for cancellations made within 24 hours of the arrival date.
  • There is no cancellation fee for all other cancellations, unless otherwise stated in the booking confirmation email.

Cancellation fees will be billed to the credit card on file.

 

Privacy Policy

Our privacy policy is compiled to ensure users of our website and services understand what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

The personal information we collect and when we collect it:

  • When you visit our website, we collect information that may help with your experience.
  • When you sign up for a newsletter or complete an online form, we collect contact information that may include name, email, and phone.
  • When a reservation is made, we collect personal information which may include contact, credit card, and transaction information.
  • Upon check-in, additional information is collected which may include vehicle and driver’s license information.

How we use personal information:

  • To communicate with you or provide services you have requested.
  • To secure room bookings.
  • To pre-authorise credit cards.
  • To process payments and charges.

Retaining and deleting personal information:

  • Personal information is kept only as long as deemed necessary to provide the services requested. This may include personal information collected through contact forms and newsletter subscriptions.
  • Personal information collected during the reservation process is kept in an Occupancy Log as part of the Inn Keepers Act. This information is kept indefinitely to maintain compliance with the Act.
  • Credit card information is deleted from the reservation system seven days after checkout.
  • Personal information collected on transaction receipts is stored for up to seven years and then disposed of securely.

Who has access to your personal information:

  • Your personal information is only accessed by a limited number of people who have access to our secure systems and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Occupancy Logs may be accessed by law enforcement upon request.

How we protect your information:

  • Personal information collected through web forms and subscriptions is stored behind secure networks.
  • All reservation and credit card information is stored and processed with our online booking engine, SiteMinder – TheBookingButton. Their privacy policy can be reviewed here.
  • Personal information collect on transaction receipts is stored onsite in a secure location.

International transfer of personal data:

  • Personal information and credit card processing may reside on servers outside of Canada and server locations may change without notice.

Third Parties:

  • Your personal information is not sold or traded to third-parties.

  • We use cookies to understand and save your preferences for future visits.
  • We use cookies to identify website visitors and to help us understand their needs and preferences.
